OUR SERVICES
Our services grow out of and emanate from a position of servant leadership. Spiritual servant leadership is one of the most powerful paradoxes in Scripture: the greatest leader is the one who serves the most. It is not leadership built on titles, authority, recognition, or applause. It is leadership that reflects the very heart of Jesus Christ, who said, "The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28, KJV).
At the present time, our main focus is on our weekly interactive messages which are broadcasts on the Zoom platform every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. est. It is led by Dr. Smiley together with her co-host Tish Ridley. Currently, they are discussing the Book of Revelation and their approach is to bring in related scripture from time to time in order to dispel fear of the book but to promote the look and grace of God for His people's salvation. The sessions are video taped and offered free to those who are interested. A listing of the message titles are found on this site on the "Videos" page. We make the messages and clips from them available on Facebook, You Tube, Linked In, and Sub Stack.
We also have a subscription to devotionals which serve to inspire and encourage those who are interested and we offer them free for the asking. There is great content and workshop space included in these devotionals that allows one to put knowledge to action.
In the very near future, I will be developing pamphlets and teaching material on specific concepts and difficult to understand scriptures in the Bible to help those who are interested better understand God's message to his people. For example, subjects such as the judgments, and woes, and trumpets, and examples from the Old Testament that helps one better understand the New Testament.
It is our desire, for the more distant future, to be able to offer workshops and presentations in order for those who are interested to experience the visible expression of God's love in action. It will be a call for ordinary people to become extraordinary vessels through whom Christ's compassion, grace, and truth flow into their lives freely. This is the type of leadership that builds people instead of platforms, develops disciples instead of followers, and leaves a legacy that echoes into eternity.
We are constantly seeking God's guidance as to what this calling is and what it can be. Subsequently, we are committed to go where he leads us on this ministry entitled "Journey to Spiritual Growth." We are always open to those who care to join us or make suggestions to us in order that we may grow in grace together.
Spiritual Servant Leadership: Leading with the Heart of Christ
Spiritual servant leadership is the divine calling to influence others by first surrendering yourself to God and then joyfully serving those He has entrusted to your care. It is leadership that does not seek the highest throne but willingly kneels to wash another's feet. It is the remarkable ability to lead with humility, love with sincerity, serve with compassion, and inspire others by living the very message you proclaim.
A spiritual servant leader understands that leadership is not about accumulating power—it is about releasing God's power through acts of kindness, wisdom, integrity, and sacrifice. They recognize that every conversation is an opportunity to encourage, every challenge is an opportunity to demonstrate faith, and every person is someone created in the image of God.
This kind of leadership transforms lives because it begins with a transformed heart. Before leading others, the servant leader allows the Holy Spirit to shape their own character. Pride gives way to humility. Selfish ambition is replaced with God's purpose. Control is exchanged for trust. Fear becomes courage, and criticism becomes compassion.
Spiritual servant leaders are not driven by the desire to be noticed. They are driven by the desire to make Christ known. They celebrate the success of others, lift up those who have fallen, comfort the hurting, strengthen the weak, teach the truth with love, and remain faithful even when no one is watching. Their greatest reward is not earthly recognition but hearing the words of their Master: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
The influence of a servant leader extends far beyond the walls of the church. They become a source of hope in their homes, wisdom in their workplaces, encouragement in their communities, and light in a world searching for truth. Their lives become living testimonies that genuine greatness is measured not by how many people serve you, but by how faithfully you serve God and others.
Ultimately, spiritual servant leadership is the visible expression of God's love in action. It calls ordinary people to become extraordinary vessels through whom Christ's compassion, grace, and truth flow into the lives of others.
